Peggy Williams

Peggy Williams just recently stepped down as the president of Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York, after 11 successful years in the office. She was the 7th president of the college and the first woman president.

Prior to Ithaca, she served as president of Lyndon State College for eight years. In addition, she held positions of Associate Academic Dean, Chair of the Business and Economic Department and Associate Professor at Trinity College. In the fall of 1990 she received recognition from Creating Excellence magazine, being named to the publishers' list of Vermont's "Top Ten Achievers."
